Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 of 1970) is an American actress best famous for her portrayal of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter and Dr. Sydney Hansen on NBC's Providence drama and The Resident's medicine drama The Resident. She received critical acclaim in her portrayal of Eleni Anderson Cooper. This was her first television role in CBS soap drama Guiding Light. Her most notable movies are 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted into a feature film by Vlas Parlapanides (the team who invented Immortals) Immortals) is thought to be in production. The show she is starring in, Gods & Heroes is currently working on.
